Holiday -An absence from regular work which can be either official or unofficial. Official holiday is one where the holiday is common to all the colleagues of an individual who are at the same level and who belong to the same entity/department whereas unofficial holiday is one where an individual takes a break from the regular work though he/she is responsible for that day’s work.

The holiday is also categorized into different types based on the regions. It is usually described as a trip in some regions whereas in other regions, it is a day of celebration where no citizen does regular work. They are also divided into various types based on observance like consecutive holidays, religious holidays, national holidays and secular holidays.

The holiday is important in anyone’s life because human beings have life and they cannot work everyday like machines. Also, psychological and mental stress levels would increase if there are no holidays which may permanently affect an individual physically or mentally. It is a day wherein people bond with friends and relatives and enjoy to the maximum extent. For the same reason, all educational institutes and companies provide holidays to the students as well as employees to maintain a regular flow. The holidays must be planned well by every individual. It would help him/her to love his/her own life.
